Our website does not have any cookies which are written by us, however we do use the WordPress platform so users who log in will have cookies saved by WordPress.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

The majority of our users will not use these pages and thus cookies will not be set when they view the site.

Data protection and your privacy

If you would like to receive a printed version please contact us to arrange this for you. The Privacy Policy helps you understand how Kernow Jamboree may collect and use your personal data in detail.

In making a booking, you consent to the information being passed on to relevant organisations in their respective locations such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as requested by law. Under Data Protection legislation, we believe we can demonstrate that we have a legitimate interest in using your data for some marketing purposes, such as sending you a newsletter, email or information through social media specifically to do with Kernow Jamboree.

You can, at any time, opt-out of our use of your data, or you can specifically opt out of contact from us by emailing [email protected] and we can arrange this for you. Please note: if you do unsubscribe from promotional contacts, you will still receive essential calls, SMS text and email communications specifically relating to matters that will affect your stay at Kernow Jamboree.

The Data We Collect About You

When you send us a query, or opt-in to email updates from us, we will store your name and email address to allow us to reply/send these out. You may withdraw from these communications at any time by emailing us at [email protected].

In order to process your booking and to help us provide you with a more personal service, we need to collect certain information from you, including (where applicable) name, address, age of party members, payment details, mobile phone numbers, email address and any other special requirements which may affect your arrangements.

We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.

How Is Your Personal Data Collected?

Only the information provided by you is stored by Kernow Jamboree. This information is provided by you:

  • When you opt-in to email updates from us
  • When you send us a query
  • When you create a booking

We may also request more information from you after you have made a booking, so that we can process your booking fully.

  • Responding to your queries
  • Send you emails which you have opted into
  • To discuss your booking with you
  • Kernow Crew – your details may be shared with people within Kernow Jamboree so that they may discuss your role with you
