Groups Where will we camp? The whole event is based on Stithians Showground in Cornwall, near Truro. We will use the fields surrounding the main arenas and barn. You will be allocated to a subcamp and have a dedicated subcamp leader as your first point of contact. Each subcamp will have access to toilets, showers, water, rubbish and recycling facilities. Groups What does the participation fee cover? For Cub and Brownie units, the participant fee (£225 for a Cub or Brownie, £60 for a leader/young leader) covers the activities, a free issue T shirt, Scarf and event badges. Groups Can young leaders attend? Yes, young leaders over the age of 14 can attend with their group as part of the leadership team, or they can apply to join the ORIGIN Crew and support the programme delivery, logistics, entertainment and welfare. Read more »
Groups Who can take part in ORIGIN? ORIGIN is specifically for Cub and Brownie sections. Attendance will be open to groups across the UK and internationally, but we expect the majority to come from the South West regions. Participants must be within the age range for their respective section at the time of the event. Read more »
