Handbook Category: Units

You can add additional people to your existing booking until at least the 31st May 2025, provided that we do not hit our capacity.

Our advice is that when young people sign up for Kernow, you add them straight onto EMS, so that we know that they are attending.

All you need to know to add a young person to the EMS system is their name and carer's email address. The carer then receives an email with a link, through which they can complete all the other information which we require.

We're asking for a £60 deposit per participant (youth), and a £50 deposit for adults, at the point of booking.

50% of the booking will then be due by 28th February 2025, and any remaining balance is due by 31st May 2025.

At every stage in this process, the booking system will update itself with the new amount due. This means that you can always see the amount due to us, live, in the finance tab on EMS.

You will be able to bring your young children (under 10) if you need to - they’ll need to be included in your unit numbers.

There’s a question for this on the booking signup form – just click yes, so that we can adjust your group’s booking to include your child.

For participants the cost is £275. We believe this offers excellent value for money with a full programme including both on and off site activities.

For leaders, Kernow 2025 will be £60.

Participant and leader bookings are uncatered – you will need to shop for, prepare, and cook your own food for the week.

You'll have to provide your own catering for your unit.

There are plenty of shops in the area, with Tesco, Morrisons, Adsa, Sainsbury's, Aldi and Lidl all represented in the surrounding towns.
